Beyond Pain Relief: How the Amari Method Evolved from 25 Years of Healing Practice

After 25 years as a bodyworker, I found myself wanting to help people in a bigger way. I wanted to empower my clients with these tools because they're the ones I use consistently that bring me incredible change and relief on a daily basis. They're the culmination of 25+ years as a yoga teacher, massage therapist, chiropractor, and having attended countless hours of continuing education. Some I've intuitively developed myself. Whenever I'm experiencing tightness, pain, or discomfort in my body, these tools remedy it every time. I wanted my clients to not need me (or other practitioners) as much, and I want to be able to empower people around the world as well. I want to help people no longer be dependent on the healthcare system. I want to provide them with an opportunity to change the root causes of their problems rather than simply going for pain relief or temporary fixes.

The Birth of the Amari Method

This decades-long exploration has led me to develop the Amari Method, a set of seven essential steps that anyone can perform anywhere to maintain their body's natural balance and proper function.

Understanding Pain Differently

There's a consistent pattern in the culture of lower and upper back pain. This is mainly because we sit too much and only move in habitual, less-than-optimal ways. The vast majority of people I encounter struggle with one of these chronic pain patterns, which I simply call defense physiology. These issues aren't random; they're clear signals that our bodies are out of alignment and trying to get our deeper attention. In this culture, we often see pain as adversarial, wanting to get rid of it at all cost. But pain is not the problem—it's the messenger. We need to address the root cause and see pain as instructional. It's your body's way of telling you that it's not happy with what you're doing.

A Solution That Works

The Amari Method directly addresses these root causes. People get immediate relief from years and decades of chronic pain.

These 7 steps represent the best of my trial and error. This protocol is profound, simple, and incredibly effective. You will gain an entirely different relationship to your body as you use these steps ongoingly. You will see your body changing right before your eyes. That's why I consider them the center of my practice.

Universal Application

Whether you're dealing with carpal tunnel syndrome, elbow issues, shoulder pain, spinal problems, hip discomfort, knee trouble, or foot pain, The Amari Method provides a solution. And it feels good while you're doing each step. They're easy to do. The Amari Method refines itself over time as you become more in tune with your body and what it's really needing. You have it for the rest of your life. It can free you from constant dependence on professional intervention.

My Mission

My mission is simple: I want people to understand their bodies and have the ability to heal themselves. By sharing the Amari Method, I'm putting the power of healing back into people's hands, giving them the tools they need to maintain their body's natural balance for life.

The Amari Method does not just treat pain, but rather it empowers people with the knowledge they need to live life on their own terms.
